Key Pieces of Criminal Law

Crime exists in our earth and you just cannot move away from that. It seems like every twilight most of the nightly news is paying attention on all of the different offense that have been committed.

In fact, there is an entire sub set of law that is dedicated to crimes. The criminal law field is actually a very specialized field.

Criminal law is also known as penal law in some circles. It is technically defined as “bodies of rules in different jurisdictions whose common characteristic is the potential for unique and often severe impositions as punishment for failure to comply.”

What that basically means is that criminal law is the area of law that focuses on the crimes that result from laws being broken.

Criminal law will dictate what the authentic laws are, and perhaps most importantly the judgement for the offenses devoted. Some of the most common offenses that fall into this category are kill, rape, and aggravated assault to name a few.

There is a number of distinction within the laws as to the difference among a petty crime, like shoplifting , and a violent Crime , like homicide. There are many advocates who specialist in prosecuting or defending criminal law cases as they quite often require different types of facts than say a divorce proceeding.

The Best American Politics

American Politics

American party politics are a complete and total zoo, and personally I wouldn’t have it any other day. I know that it is popular to despise American politics because of the partisanship, the corruption, and all the rest, but for me this is just what makes it interesting. The American political system is a fascinating world of intrigue, corruption, and valiant voices of truth crying out in the darkness.

Of course, the American political scene is nothing new. In America, things have been corrupt for well over a hundred years, and much of the rest of the world has been that way for thousands. Look at the politics of medieval Italian states if you don’t believe me ” you will see a culture of corruption and villainy which makes Our system look here as pure as gold by comparison

Many people think that the American political landscape is heading for a sea change. Certainly, the seas will change eventually. When we are in a period of corruption like this, it is not easy to remember how it was at certain points in the past. Believe it or not, this country has had a political heyday ” an era where conviction ruled over party loyalty and backroom dealings were not the end-all and be-all. Things will get that way again eventually, it is just a question of when and for how long. Until then, we can keep enjoying watching the brawling from the sidelines.

One of the most interesting, and most corrupt facets of American politics is the influence of campaign donors and special interest groups on the policies of public officials. This is a well-known problem all over the world, but in America with our unique media savvy, it seems to be even worse than in most places. Following the money trail and finding the truth amid all the propaganda can be a full-time job for political bloggers in this country.

No matter how you feel about the situation in American politics, the most crucial thing is to stay optimistic and try to enjoy it. If you are a political crusader, enjoy looking for the truth. If you are a propagandist, make political stickers and buttons or write articles that will move people and change their opinions. Just because the system is somewhat corrupt doesn’t mean that it excludes us completely. The key is to find your own place in it.

Its the holidays, but where did the recession go?

With all the talk in recent months of a recession, I was struck by how many people were at the department store today.  Granted, this is a time of year when commercialism is usually at its peak.  But with all of the recent financial hardship and economic downturns, I didn’t expect to see a crowd.  I had wondered if people would take this time to cut back on the gifts and really focus more on spending time with loved ones.

But commercialism will live on it appears.  The crowds were thriving and I could really not make any distinction to any other year.  It appears that even in the face of hardship, people will make an effort to celebrate the holidays in the same fashion they always have.  Hopefully this could be a bit of a boost for the rest of the economy, but only time will tell.

The Price of Gas Is Down , But For How Long

So gas prices are at levels where a fill up doesn’t require heart medication and personal loans. So how long do you think that is going to last? Not long the Arabs will shut down some wells and the price will creep back up. So what is the solution?

Well iIve been thinking , what if we send some folks and tell them we are playing by the same rules they play with. Just guys , look we need oil and by the looks of your farm land you are going to need some food. You cant grow anything out here. So her is the deal , we are raising the price of a bushel of corn to 300.00. How does that feel Shiek Crude Pumper? or we can trade straight up

Sarah Palin, Came, Saw and Kicked Ass

It seems Sarah Palin is going to take all the crap people have been giving her without dishing some out herself. I say good for her . She delivered a kick ass speech to the GOP Convention and Barrack Obama may indeed be in for a fight. Why is it every time an attractive woman gets in the limelight , they start assaulting her character. I’m a Sarah Palin fan already and Im glad she stood up for herself . I hope she keeps on doing it too .
